UNDERCOOK PASTA


Let’s talk Pasta!!! Yum yum!

 

Prepping dry pasta is usually a 3-step process:

 

  1. Boil
  2. Drain
  3. Add sauce

So! Always undercook your pasta by 2-3 minutes when boiling to avoid over-cooking at a later stage. Overcooked pasta is a MAJOR NO-NO!!! Here’s your secret weapon to perfect pasta!

 

After boiling it in salted water, drain, cool & add some olive oil so the starch doesn’t turn it into a blob.

 

If you’re not serving immediately, then reserve some of the salted water to be used in heating it up followed by your choice of sauce (which is warm & prepped separately) this part literally takes 2 minutes!!! WHAT!!! CONGRATS YOU’RE A PASTA PRO!
